They Call Me Sister Scooter

Hello my wonderful people!!

First, before I begin, I want to say thank you for the way you live your life. Whether you are family, friends, secret besties, mentors or role models you are all people that I love and respect. You set an amazing example and have a love and light about you.

Today is my first P-Day as a Visitors Center missionary and last P-Day before leave for London!
I cannot tell you how excited I am.

"Sister Scooter" they call me. I am famous at the MTC. As I ride around on my scooter missionaries will hoot and holler ; ) It has given me some great missionary/service opportunities actually. Today, as I was on my way to the temple someone asked about my foot. I told them the wild story and asked about them. Long story short, we explained a little bit about what missionaries do and told them about the gospel and briefly taught the first lesson. We told them they could meet with other missionaries and they said they would love that! First lesson taught and I can't explain or convey how happy I am to have been a witness of Christ and share His love and gospel.

This week has been especially hard. Ridiculously hard. Through all the hard though there have been many tender mercies that I know will bless my life forever. God’s love you. He will never give up on you. Trust in His plan and go forward by faith. No matter what you are going through, or what you are helping others get through, He's there. Experience will all be for your good and the good of those around you. -D&C 121:7-9

7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.
9 Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands.

I would love if you all would think of one thing that stuck out to you, or something that came to you when you read these verses and write it down. Something that I thought of was that I have so many wonderful people (friends) that Heavenly Father has directed to be a part of my life. Another thing that I have come to know is that He answers prayers before we even ask for them. Yesterday I prayed for more confidence in my teaching and today I realized that the hard experiences that I have been having have, and will in the future, help me be more confident in Lord. I love Him. I have been able to strengthen my relationship with him and that means everything. I love you all!!

-Sister Levie
