Foot Trouble

Hello everyone.

I hope y'all had a fabulous week!! Are you enjoying the snow? I am. The mountains are so beautiful when the sun shines on the snow. As I watch the snowflakes float slowly down, dancing in the air, I am reminded of how much our Heavenly Father loves us and how wonderful and beautiful his creations are. Ok, enough about the snow, not let's get to the scooter....

This week went by soooooo fast and it has been an amazing wild ride. On Tuesday I got a scooter!! Funny story, I was running down some stairs, landed on my heel wrong and bruised my bone. We went to check it out and I have a "Serious Bone Contusion" which basically means my bone is bruised and the tissue around it is sore and swollen. The Doc said that if I stay off of it I should be doing well enough to leave for London on schedule! Please, please pray that I will have a miraculous recovery. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ In the meantime I get to ride a scooter everywhere!! Pictures down below;)

My district is leaving me next week๐Ÿ˜“ On Monday they leave and I start my visitors center training!๐Ÿ˜ I am currently the only missionary receiving the training this week and that means, I get the special opportunity to be the only student in class. If I understand it right I will be a solo sister, which mean I won't have a companion. I'm so excited to learn more specifically about what I am going to be doing as a Visitors Center Sister and developing skills that will help me to help others come closer to Christ.

The MTC has been a humbling and inspiring experience. I've had hard times Quote of the week: "The Lord doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called" and how true that is. I feel so inadequate but I know that I am capable when allied with Christ's power. We are one in purpose and in love. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much. He answers our prayers and love to hear from us. He has a plan for each and every one of us and provides a way. This is truly the work of Jesus Christ and I'm soooooo very grateful to be a part of it. The minute I was set apart and put on my tag I felt an indescribable love and happiness. In Alma 37:36-37 it teaches us to rely on the Him because He's there. 36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever. 37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

I invite you all to continue to strengthen your personal relationship with your Heavenly Father. I promise that as you do that you will feel of His love and not only that you will come to see His plan for you and be directed as to what is the next step. He is the ultimate guide and he answers your prayers. He has answered mine and I thank Him everyday for the gift of prayer. I love you all! So so much!

Thank you for your prayers and support. ❤❤Sister Levie❤❤

P.S. We found a cat and one of the sisters named her Sister Mittens๐Ÿ˜… everyone loved her! I'm pretty sure she's at least 80 years old;)
