Week 60: Wow, Jesus Christ is amazing!

Week 60
Hello from The Hyde Park visitors center.
We have church in person again and everyone is so nice! We all feel excited for things to start opening up again.
We also started giving virtual tours to everyone that would like to see the Hyde Park Chapel here in London! This week we gave one to President and Sister Checketts and they said "It is a powerful and inviting way to share what we believe and the history of the Hyde Park chapel."
You all are invited! It's not Buckingham palace, but it is even better because it is a place where so many come to learn about Jesus Christ. Please bring your families and friends to see a tour given by the London missionaries!

Email me privately if you would like to know the times for the tours that my companion and I will be giving. Abigail.levie@missionary.org
Although I miss the mixican food from home, I am learning to love the british "delicacies''. This week I discovered crumpets and I LOVE them! They are like a pancake but not as flat and it has holes in the top... anyways it's very good. It's the closest thing I can get to a pancake because their pancakes are more like crepes.
The power of prayer:
Last week we had 5 lessons planned and only one of them answered, I say answered because we are still not meeting in person, everything is over phone or video call. We decided to pray to know how we could use this time, and Sister Ahumada felt that we should call some members and introduce ourselves. Getting out the list, we read through some names and prayed again to know which member we should call. One specific name stood out so we called her. After speaking with her for 10 mins we found out that she works the night shift and feels distant from the ward because she sleeps while everyone else is awake. Towards the end of our call we shared Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" Cynthia started softly crying and said that us calling was an answer to her prayer earlier that day. The spirit was so strong and my testimony is now stronger. I know that God directs us and helps to help those who need it the most. Each of us have our ministering assignments and we have the chance to be an answer to someone's prayer!
I love being a missionary in London. The people here are amazing. Thank you all for your prayers! I challenge all of you to say a prayer of gratitude for the first thing that you feel grateful for.
Love,
Sister Levie
